Care for others
Care more about the needs of others more than you do of your own. It will go against your worldly desires but you will be happier.

No wisdom, just funny...
I was watching "Safety Training" episode of the Office this morning. Darryl and Michael are going at it, arguing about who has the more difficult job. Darryl tells Michael that he is always:
"sittin' on your biscuit, never havin' to risk it".
Not much wisdom in that, but it's funny...

Simply do you best
Doing your best is taking the action because you love it, not because you're expecting a reward. Most people do exactly the opposite: They only take action when they expect a reward, and they don't enjoy the action. And that's the reason why they don't do their best.

Always Do Your Best
Your best is going to change moment to moment; it will be different when you are healthy as opposed to sick. Under any circumstance, simply do your best and you will avoid self-judgment, self-abuse and regret.

True Freedom
“They promise them freedom, but they themselves are slaves of corruption; for whatever overcomes a man, to that he is enslaved” (2 Peter 2:19; Revised Standard Version).

Plan
Charlie Sheen has been in the news recently for his bizzare behavior, etc. They say that genius people are borderline crazy. Here is a part of a tweet that he posted on Twitter yesterday:
"PLAN BETTER Applies to everything where an excuse now sits."

Now
People like us, who believe in physics, know that the distinction between past, present, and future is only a stubbornly persistent illusion.

No "I"
Just as a man who steps upon a serpent shutters in fear but then looks down and notices it is only a rope, so it was that one day I realized that what I was calling “I” cannot be found, and all fear and anxiety vanished with my mistake.
The BUDDHA
*it was interesting to me how this statement can be directly related to the basic principle of Christianity of not being self centered, understanding that God created man to serve Him through serving others on Earth and not be serving our own self interests - remembering that we are all part of the body of Christ and not individuals...

Understanding
This was the lesson I learned in church last Sunday:
Don't insist on understanding, just be faithful.

Judgement
Do not judge or criticize others. Just be at ease and go on mindlessly like a simpleton or a fool. Or, be like one who is struck deaf and dumb. Spend your life as if you cannot hear a thing, or like an infant. Then, sooner or later, all delusion will disappear.
